My lore runs deep. I spent years embedded in evangelical Christian culture. I once joined a cult-like organization where I paid to work and live in a tropical country to proselytize to and pray with people who I thought needed more Jesus in their life. I believed my mission was to save as many souls from the fiery depths of hell as I possibly could. However, the deeper I swam in these waters, the more questions I encountered – questions that couldn’t be answered within the pages of the Bible; questions that caused a stir amongst those I lived with and learnt from.

I longed for a relationship with God, for a personal connection with the Divine, beyond dogma and fear-based teachings. While I still hold Christianity as part of my spiritual foundation, my beliefs have expanded. I have come to value the wisdom found in all religions and belief systems, recognizing that truth exists in diverse forms throughout many cultures.

After graduating university, I felt a vacuum of learning I needed to fill. In came tarot reading. Through mentorship, personal study (thanks Fraser Valley Regional Library catalog!) and plenty of practice reading on myself and others, I picked up the language of tarot and learned to trust the power of my intuition.

My vision for Wildflora Tarot is to redefine tarot as a form of self-reflection rather than divination.

I want to empower people to:

• See intuition as a skill - not just a vague feeling, but a powerful guide

• Trust their inner wisdom, feeling confident in their life choices

• Approach life’s uncertainties with curiosity rather than fear
